EyeSwipe^® Mini is a miniaturized version of Global Rainmakers, Inc.’s HBOX^® technology, performing real-time iris recognition on the fly, at a distance.

EyeSwipe^® Mini eliminates the need for cards and overhead to manage card-based systems. The product is offered at a price point that easily competes with the significantly less-accurate but widely-used card-based systems.

With its 15 people per minute throughput capability (people moving at speeds of up to 1 m/sec), EyeSwipe^® Mini is ideal for physical access control to critical rooms and areas within buildings such as server rooms, vaults, etc. 

The technology is entirely seamless to use as all an individual has to do is briefly glance at it while moving towards the EyeSwipe^® Mini. 

The primary components of EyeSwipe^® Mini are embedded processors, cameras, lenses and IR panels running multiple wavelengths, which are designed specifically by GRI and contained in the HCORE™ module. The operating system of the EyeSwipe^® Mini is Linux. 

EyeSwipe^® Mini can be used indoors, as well as outdoors (w/NEMA housing) and can be mounted on a wall. 

EyeSwipe^® Mini comes in two models, namely EyeSwipe^® Mini Portal and EyeSwipe^® Mini, differing in their biometric modalities. EyeSwipe^® Mini has the capability to acquire facial imagery of 125 pixels between the eyes. 

Both versions of the EyeSwipe^® Mini can be configured to have the “Enrollment on the Fly™” capability, whereby an individual can be enrolled in the EyeSwipe^® Mini database simply by glancing at the device while moving towards it, just like recognition. 

The technology has “Identification in Anonymity” capability. EyeSwipe^® Mini also provides identity security through live iris verification: 

• A user has to be physically present at time of biometric identification. 
• Identity cannot be stolen as credit card numbers; PINs, usernames, and passwords can and are. 
• A person with an image of an iris of another person, either in photo or video CANNOT commit fraud by pretending to be the actual owner of the identity.
